So, I have several betta foods (six in total counting my frozen blood worms). I'd never really compared them-- just when I go shopping I tend to keep my eyes peeled for pellets that have meats as their first ingredient (I like to give my fish variety)
New Life Spectrum 1mm Beeta Formula Semi-Floating pellets have been my main pellet for ages. It stood out to because it was the first somewhat high quality food I got, and because when I open it it's the only one that smells distinctly like fish.
I was just peering at the different ones though, and noticed that every other fish food I have has higher minimum crude protein however. Can someone help me understand fish food needs a little better?
I know that crude protein is good, and I know that meats are better than flour or soy products as the food. I was just wondering... if anyone could give me a slightly more technical breakdown. lol
