lower tank temperature for marimo ball?

i just got a japanese marimo ball....i know they supposed to live in pretty cold water so should i lower my tank water from 80 to 78?

It should be fine. I have a marimo and my tank is at 82. They are pretty adaptable and honestly I doubt 2 degrees would make much of a difference even if they did need cooler water ;)

Many people keep them with bettas in the warmer temps, I am sure it will be fine.
