Smile New Diggs For Tanz!

I found a 2 gallon glass bowl and moved Tanz from his tiny 1/2 gal. bowl. He seemed nervous about his new home. I looked at him closely that evening and several times during the night and he really seemed freaked. By the next afternoon. he was zooming around like a rocket fish and has not stopped. He is healing nicely from his accident a week ago last Thursday. I use stress coat, Betta Fix, and API salt. I think it takes them awhile to adjust to a new home even if it is bigger and better! I think I will be able to get his photo now.

Two gallons is a great size, especially with proper, frequent water changes as per the size :)

Sometimes it takes them awhile to get used to a bigger tank, I'm glad he's loving it! Do you have a heater? That will help him heal up even faster, and bettas need one anyway.

Yes I do! Currently using a 10w Marina from Petsmart, but have a 25w Elite on order. House is starting to cool down at night. I have started to play finger games with the little Tanz. The first time I stuck my finger in his bowl he goes WHOAOOOOOOOO!! What the heck is that thing??? He is really funny. Bettas are so smooth and cool.
