Red face What Kind Of Finnage Is This!?

This is my new betta Keseki. If someone could tell me his colors, it would be wonderful. He is one of the only true purple bettas I have ever seen, and defiantly the only one like this.
Notice his tail, he was sold to me labeled 'Half-moon', which I'm not going to complain because his tail does go to 180 when flared, but, if you can tell, he has a kind of 'clover leaf' shaped tail.
I have never seen anything like it.
I'm sure he isn't sick, or has fin rot, because his fins have been in perfect condition, and as they grow, they continue to grow in this 'three' tailed type pattern.
Have any of you see his finnage? His tail? His color?
If so, please give me more information.
Greatly appreciated,
Queenie

Thanks a ton! If you weren't aware, I name all my betta fish in Japaniese, because it makes their names more unique.
His name is Keseki, which means 'final son', because at the time, I wasn't planning on getting any more...then I saw Aki, which means Autumn, because I got him on the first day of fall, and well, Keseki, was no longer my final son xD

Any idea about what kind of tail he has?

Thanks regalesse. I really haven't seen him flare yet, unfortunately, but he is active and healthy, so that is a good thing.
I have one fish that I believe is a rose tail or a feather tail, but I need to post a thread about him too...

If anyone else has any idea...don't be shy =D

he's a halfmoon, the weird shaping happens occasionally. i don't know what causes it.

the coloring you have is purple salamander :) a relative of mustard gas

Oh alright. Will he keep his 'odd shaping?' and does it exactly have a name for the 'odd shaping?' xD
Thanks, that was very helpful.
So he is a lavender purple salamander halfmoon male?
