Meet Fuji!

He's technically not a "rescue" because I paid full price for him, but the main reason I bought him was so I could treat his terrible fin damage. He's a beautiful red boy and he's already eaten, like a good fishy should. Here he is!

Of course he is a rescue. To me, rescue is a kind-hearted person that looks for the saddest little fishes and takes them home to love <3
He found a good home, congrats, he is very handsome.

Thanks! I honestly wouldn't have gotten a fish today if he hadn't had such terrible fin damage. I WAS hoping to get an orange or yellow boy, but saving one and making his life better feels much more special to me.

awwwww he looks so young and little! =3 what a cutiepie, he seems a lil camera shy LOL. I have that same plant!!!! Good luck with that fin rot! Clean water, a lil bit of AQ salt, and maybe ( hopefully not ) maracyn II could clear that right up so he can show off and shimmy shimmy! XD XD X'D

Speaking of rescues I went to the store today and saw a female VT with internal parasites... she was soo skinny- could see something movin in there and she was swimming werid. I just dont have the room right now :'( Also saw a highly deformed DT ( suprise... ) on the shelf with a horrible "pretzel spine". :( I wanted him tooo. Some of the most gorgeous fish suffer from petstores who have issuse with water quality -_-

Well, my LPS keeps them in heated, filtered tanks, BUT they're in these small, hang on the side kind of things. There's barely room to turn around in them.
