Yes, I guess I am a Marble!

Whoever told me Kamehameha was a marble was so right! Starting with the oldest pictures to some that were taken today. And Smaug is at the bottom, gizzled old man that he is!

Only the last 2 pictures are a different fish, the one with pink/red fins. The previous one are all the same boy!

wait. . . so Marbles do this?! And it's totally random? There might be white marble in my LPS then 0.0

Well, it's not random. The genes are coded to do this, but I sure don't know what he will look like a month from now!
And yes, pure white fish can go almost pure black if they are marbles. There is a fish named Panda on this site that did that. Kamehameha is a blue marble, but there are also black marbles. There are also tricolor marbles if I am not mistaken that have yellow. Originally Kamehameha had a yellow head (looked pink in pictures), now it is much darker, almost black.

Is your mint marble the one in the picture? I love how the red on his pectoral fins looks like a heart in that picture!

I have a purple marble boy, he was white with a touch of purple, he's now almost all purple with patches of white. Awesome little fish. Your boy is gorgeous!!
