confused at little....shrimp back from dead??

So i figured my betta killed my ghost shrimp...i found the skeleton from it 2days ego..but i look in the tank today and there is the shrimp! back from the dead???twhummm...
do shrimp shed??maybe thats what i found...

That is correct...they molt the exoskeleton on a regular basis and it can be confused with a dead body sometimes...be sure and leave at least one in the tank so the shrimp can eat it for the minerals it provides them for a strong exoskeleton....remember once they molt the body is soft for a period of time and this is when they can be killed the easiest.....

it freaked me out ! lol ...fewwww thanks for the explanation...i owe my betta boy a apology..i got mad at him for killing it...and all this time he was hiding somewhere ..i fed him a betta pellet he ate it and now i can see it in his belly ..heheh...
