Question Female Betta Tank?

So I found a 2.5 gallon I have had for a while that I forgot about.
I was thinking of putting Maxwell in it and that would leave my 14 gallon bare.
I have always thought about getting a sorority tank. How many female Bettas could I put in my 14 gallon?
I have never had a sorority tank before. I have heard some good and bad stories about them.
Any advice?

You could probably put 6-8 females in a 14 gallon. Make sure they have plenty of plants and caves to hide in. Sometimes sororities work and sometimes they don't. I think it depends on the personality of the fish. Females from the same spawn get along a lot better than those who aren't from the same spawn.
