I have a spare 2.5 gallon tank and I am just curious.
How many Ghost Shrimp can live comfortably in a 2.5 gallon?
Just the shrimp, nothing else would be in there.
I have no idea, but I <3 your ferrets. Just saying. My little girl lives with my mom until I can find an apartment that'll take her. She turned 3 in February :)

Thank you. :)
Mine do not live with me right now either, they are at my mother's (the apartment I am in now does not allow them).
Mine are much older than yours. lol
Fisher is 8 years old and Georgie is 7 years old. :)
Well Georgie I just adopted a few weeks ago. He is very healthy so far, he is just deaf and has a cataract in his left eye (just like me lol).
Fisher though has a mystery lump between his upper lip and gums, he is going in for surgery soon.
i've got a 5 gallon tank with 3 ghost shrimp, 1 amano shrimp, 1 bamboo shrimp. the ghosties have such low bioload you could probably have 3 or 4, but they will jostle for food. just remember to clean out what food they don't eat after a few hours. i clean old food out every day and recently added a piece of driftwood for more hiding spaces (when they moult, they like to feel safe).
oh, and when they do moult, leave the carapice in there. makes for good noms, and they will munch on it.

I would like to say something about your stock, bamboo shrimp can get quite large for shrimp, 3 to 5 inches and they require a current to feed properly. I was just making sure that you had a current in the tank and that you were aware of there size
yep.. fiddle's still a small guy, but he's got a perch with easy reach of the current. i grind up a few flakes as an added treat, so he's got plenty of noms
