Water Temp

I am considering Edwards behavior may be due to too cool water. What is the ideal water temp? He is a Half Moon Beta in a 5 gallon tank. Thanks, Sherry

Welcome to the forum Sherry...we need some more information and maybe we can help you figure out what is going on...

In the 5gal-is it filtered, live plants, water temp, how much and how often are the water changes, appetite, any tank mates.....what kind of symptom is he having.....how long have you had him...

Generally-you want to try and keep a somewhat stable temp in the 76-80F range, a healthy Betta can usually tolerate higher and lower temp short term without any issue and the gradual day and night temp changes are normal and tolerated usually...
