I just divided my ten gallon and the screen of the divider is completely clear. I have my crowntail on one side and my plakat on the other. At first the plakat wasn't paying any attention to the crowntail, but the crowntail was going crazy flaring at him. Now the plakat is flaring back but he doesn't seem quite as aggressive as the crowntail Will they settle down? Anyone else have two males that can see each other through a divided tank?
If they don't calm down I'll just take the crowntail and put him in my females 2.5 gallon and give her his spot in the 10 gallon since the plakat doesn't seem to be as aggressive. Hes probably not going to be happy! Hes used to having the 10 gallon all to himself.
