Should I fast my betta?

I was just worried that my betta is a little bit fatter than what he was before, not a WHOLE lot, I feed him 4 pellets a day most of the time ( aquaeon pellets ) and sometimes I might miscounted so I feed him 5 pellets. I fast him on Sundays, should I fast him to make him skinnier? He's still active. How long should I fast him?

Some people fast their Betta one day every week, just to avoid bloating, getting fat, etc.

So what you're doing is fine, Bettas can go two weeks without food so fasting him one time per week is fine and keeps from being chubby if you overfeed him by accident.

A pic would help in deciding if he needs to be fasted any. [If he's bloated ect. Otherwise no it's not really a good idea to starve a fish for no reason at all]

No need to fast him if his belly is just a tiny bit big... heck, one of my boys is always a little chubby >.> 4-6 (8 for larger fish) pellets a day is the recommended amount, so you are doing fine in feeding him. Just make sure that you spread that out in 2-3 feedings.. one feeding of that many can cause bloating.
