shouldn't i feed the pair when their in the spawn tank?

shouldn't i feed the pair when their in the spawning tank? i put them there feeding frozen BBS and BW, and after 5 days i saw there were already frys.

My problem was i didn't know they spawned, so i haven't yet cleaned the tank with their poop and leftovers(i clean it daily in the morning). i got scared to clean it cause i might suck them, then the next morning their all dead. i only had them for 1 day. T.T

No you shouldn't...hence the reason for conditioning. Also with waste and rotting food from the adults creates toxins for the fry that kill them quickly.

after they spawn you're suppose to feed them as if you were still conditioning them as they've used up alot of energy during the spawn

i mean how many days before i give up. as i research some say just for hours some 3-5 days and some say up to a week.

i got curious that if i left them there for a week without feeding, wouldn't they die? if not and they spawned at the 7th day, the male would continue fasting for another couple of days?

they're fish...they can last a while without food. if theyre not killing each other then leave em alone. feed a little and keep cleaning the tank.
