Even if my heart isnt very into it, i did tell someone that i would get pictures of Splatter when i had the time... He has more blue than i remember from even two days ago... Also, i dont know why the bottom of his fin is like that... *shrug* Poor breeding perhaps?

I moved him out of his bowl and into the ten gallon where Sky was... He seems to be fitting in well, even if he is the biggest one in the tank.

Im sorry guys, i just feel sick because of Skylight's sudden passing... I have no idea what happened...

He looks just like min! Except mine is a little smaller and has two spots on his dorsal fin. What color is he classified as???

That's an awful lot of food for one betta. Might I suggest cutting it back to 3 or 4 pellets once a day? Some can handle heavy feeding, but it can lead to bloat and swim bladder problems in others.

And I'm sorry to hear about Sky's passing. I lost a wonderful melano similarly... fine one night, dead in the morning. :(

That is WAY too much food! One betta ahould not have more than 5 pellets once a day!

I agree that is alot of food. I feed 5-6 small pellets (Atison's) per feeding, and they only get that once a day.

Yeah, to be on the safe side I give mine 4 pellets a day. :)

Whoa whoa... You guys... Those are NLS Growth pellets... They would starve to death on only three or four of those a day... I give each of them a pinch of food once a day. They eat it all and i never have bloating issues...

Left is the smallest pellet i could find, right is the NLS Growth pellet.


jeeze... one normal pellet = 5-6 NLS Growth pellets... if not more.

he looks like my VT girl rose =]] they must be related some way 0.o i also ... had a skylight that passed away by fin rot, he was a royal blue VT boy, i loved him the best ='[[ sorry about yours
