It's finally time!

My tank is finally cycled! My ammonia level has been dropping very fast over the past week or so but my nitrite was registering off the chart. It went down a couple days ago. I threw in some more ammonia and the next night when I tested the water 0 ammonia and 0 nitrite. Nitrate was about 20 (I've done a couple water changes in between.) I added ammonia last night. I'm at work right now. If when I get home, everything is back to 0, I'll be in the market for my betta, finally. I never thought I'd be so excited about bacteria in a fish tank. I'll have pics as soon as I finally choose a fish.

Happy for you, I just finished getting my tank ready for my Betta too. I was doing fishless cycle and it's kind of a pain in the.... well you know. I hate cycling. Good luck on finding your fishy friend.
