The Pleco Thread!

Hey all, I'm really into Plecos right now, so....here's a thread for them! Share Pleco stories, Pics, What types you have, anything Pleco! I'll start: I only have 1, a Bristlenosed Pleco. Its just a baby, just slightly under 2" long, counting fins. I believe it's 3-6 months old. I'm pretty sure it's a he, but if it turns out to be a she, I plan to get another after upgrading my filtration. It's name is Tingle, he's normal colored, and still in QT, I got him on Saturday night :)

I have a common Pleco (D'oh, why do i always end up with the monster commons?)

His name is Echo. (Echo the Pleco, get it?)

Is he big yet? Or still a baby?

You know I don't really know... He used to be about the size of a Cory Catfish but now he's like the size of my 3" Goldfish.

Ok, so he's a baby. How old/how long have you had him?

Ehhh... Well I got him and Kia and Yuuki all on the same day... so.... about 6 weeks?

So he's grown like an Inch? Seems like a baby Common, your right :) is yours like possesive of one thing? Mine is in love with it's Airstone, and the member here Smellsfishie has one that's emotinally attached to a treasure chest decoration.

Yes. His Barrel Hiding Decoration. It was Beau's because my old Oranda Goldfish couldn't fit in it and the Oranda kept trying to eat Beau so he'd hide in there, but now Beau can't physically fit in it so Echo has taken over it.

He loves it. He feels safe in it!

Lol, mine just sucks on the airstone and spazzes for a while. I guess it tickles his sucker or something XD
