I reccomend one big tank...makes cleaning easier. I have two 30s and a 20 for growout. Also it depends on amount of fry. But some people have luck splitting them.

Good luck!

No problem. I was able to spawn mine in a 10 gal. Yours should be fine. Goodluck and can't wait to see the fry.

Got my giants today yall. Female is having a bit of a hard time, the male is stunning and healthy. Will probably wait a week to spawn them.

said it in the other thread but I'll say it again anyways, the pics don't do the male justice at all. he's so pretty in real life

I hear some people leaving the water only filled so far, and instead of doing water changes the first week, they just add water to the tank until it's full (a gallon a day). Would that interest you? I was thinking of doing this myself, so I wouldn't have to do water changes the first week other than cleaning the bottom of the bare tank and adding some fresh water.

Yes it absolutely would - How I have set up now is like 4/5ths of the way full..maybe a little less, so the giant have more room to spawn in, assuming this female recovers from whatever her issue is.

I bought a super long pipette - I'm planning on adding a little water each day after two weeks have passed, as this seems to be the most sensitive time, and just piping out any waste/food waste. There will also be a sponge filter and possibly an apple snail on clean up crew.
