Kindles

I have the Kindle 3/3G w/wifi! i love it! i do a lot of reading so this is the best thing ever because i can store ALOT of my fave books on my kindle! my friend just got the Kindle Fire. and that thing is AWESOME!!!! i would definitely recommend any kind of Kindle! their absolutely the best!

A iPad2 costs $499 for amercian pricing. That is wifi only btw.
I have a ipod touch 4g and it was pricy at $225(but they are now 199 or cheaper), which was a bundle at walmart plus shipping, but it was SO worth it.
I have the iBooks app and I have like 10 free books right now, plus on any books u can read a few free chapters BEFORE u buy the book.
I'm currently saving up for an iPad so I hopefuly get one in a few years !

can I just rant that I saved for MONTHS to be able to afford the original Kindle and bought one last April.... and still haven't used it once... Why you ask? HARRY FREAKING POTTER that's why. Thank you JKR for not releasing HP to Kindle and ruining my life. LOL I started reading through the HP series again when I moved to my new apartment (last february) and I haven't even finished the fifth one yet. I have a horrible habit of falling asleep when I read and I am a slow reader anyways... So now my kindle is still untouched (I've bought things on it, just not read any of them) and here comes Amazon releasing some newer more awesome ones and dropping the price of the one I saved months for, to half.......... GRRRRRRR I blame dyslexia really. I'da been done with HP months ago if I didn't have trouble reading. Oh well. I like the kindle I have. It doesn't have it's own 3g but I can connect to wifi to download. I named it "Reed" LOL anyways. I would love a Kindle Fire but I'm so poor right now I can only dream about it (til they cut the price in half when they come out with the latest new model next year!)

I got the Kindel Touch for Christmas. I guess it depends on what you want to do with it. If you want it strictly for reading, than I would say go with a Kindle. If you are wanting internet access and to be able to check e-mail and such, than I would go with a tablet. I am still learning how my Touch works, so I am not the best source for information. I just thought I would offer my input. :)
