oh god.... You got a common pleco. Those can get 2 feet long.... They don't have a very big bioload (I have never even seen mine poo) but they need the space. They swim really fast. I'd say you could get a community tank with him and he'd be okay. But he COULD outgrow it.

well for now he is like 2 1/2 inches lol, when he gets larger or seemingly too large for my tank i will give him away, i felt bad for the poor guy, he was sooo slow and ill , so i bought him...

Yeah, how many gallons is he in? When he gets to be 4+ inches, its time to let him go. He'll do some growing, but you wouldn't want him to get stunted.

Whats his name? Mine's is Echo. Get it? Echo-the-Pleco.

lol, Triton... lol. he is so cute, he's tiny!!!! hace you ever seen snail suck on glass??? it loooks strange..... but fascinating... lol, its a ten gal tank.

If it looks like mine they get to be five inches at the absolute most, normally 3-4. If yours gets bigger than I'm out of luck too.

I know! Snails mouthes are... weird......

So is he alone with the snails I hope?
