Aquarium water for plants?

For the past 3 months I've been caring for fishes, i thought that instead of draining the water to the sewers why not in plants? so, can aquarium water be use as water for plants?

Yep! I know OldFishLady, one of the mods on here, drains the dirty fish water directly to her garden. It's GREAT for plants!

I've used it for the last couple weeks on my indoor plants and they haven't died or turned nasty yet

That makes me want to go get a few live potted plants. I feel guilty dumping all that water down the drain. I suppose I should at least go water the grass and bushes in front of my apartment!

Aren't you not suppose to dump it on food plants? Just decorative ones?

I have used it to water spider plants, some kind of fern, catnip, aloe, angel plant and they have been no worse for wear.

I wish I had more plants that needed watering more often! My succulents barely use any water XD
