Over-halfmoon or just halfmoon??

My betta, skylar, has colored up sooo sooo much! His fins have grown a bunch too! Im now starting to thing that he's a over-halfmoon. Pics below*

What do you think? Also what is his coloration im thinking a bi-colored, butterfly pie-blad :)

He's not a butterfly or pie bald, it's hard to tell his tail spread from the photos but he could be over halfmoon is you got a non-distorted photo of him flaring. He is very pretty!

I'm curious. Why isn't he a pie bald? I thought it said pie balds were pale colored faces regardless of color or somethin like that. Just curious.

On a true pie bald, the whole head is pale colored, and this fish has some color on top of his head =) He's adorable! I think he's just a halfmoon, but it's hard to tell without a pic of him in full flare.

Pie bald is like, Caucasian person skin colored flesh, semi translucent and yes, covering the whole head.

pie bald is just a fancy term for marble with clear or white head....
with a solid color body....
its very hard to tell if your fish is ohm or hm without a clean side shot....
yeah thats hard to do......
try it the other day....
after a few attempt i give up.....
especially when using a phone....

He just looks HM to me, but his fins are AWESOME and i love his colors xD If you can see that his tail extends past the 180degree's then he'd be over halfmoon, but idon't see that in any of the pictures.
