To me, whatever works for you is what you should use. Mac's are, to me, the better computer. I HATE it when people criticize other computers when they've never used it. I've used PCs longer (13 yrs) than Macs (1yr), and I still chose Macs, and having to learn a new OS. (BTW, totally easier to use than PCs, just sayin')

Lol tbh the OS really isn't THAT much different than Windows, things just have different names and it's a little backwards (like the minimize, close and expand buttons on applications are on the left rather than the right) and getting used to no taskbar and start menu is a little different but it's easy to figure out.

My totally computer illiterate friend figured her way around on my mac faster than on her own windows xD

But like I said, windows are good for gaming because you can soup them up for a lot cheaper than you can a mac.

@nochoramet

yes, you're right. Macs are pretty simple to use...and if you think about it...everything does (to quote Steve Jobs,rip) just work. I also agree with the upgrade thing...two 4gb RAM slots from the Apple website costs $200!!!! O.o" I found the same for about 100...

At first, when I used a Mac for real for the first time...I thought it was stupid! And then, after a semester of using it...I'm like...PC? Those old things? lol

@FM12

Its iPod Touch..not iTouch...just sayin' lol. you're on a Apple thread...prepare to be corrected...

@general forum

LOL my computer science teacher, whenever she isn't sure about the "Mac version" of a Windows program, she just looks at me...lmao. I'm like Apple's Ambassador to a PC world...(I should get paid...and Apple will get the $$ back anyway...what do you think i'm going to spend it on? XD)

Kindle Fire? You should've saved another 200 and gotten the iPad. *whistles innocently*

Sorry, can't afford it. lol I've heard good things about the Kindle Fire. It may not have aall the bells and whistles that the Ipad has but it'll be good enough for me. The only thing is I want to be able to connect to the internet outside my house.

I hope so, too. I'm excited about it. I think I'm going to order it in a few weeks.
