Is there any way I could perm it to look like this? I just really hate curling it all the time! What size curlers would I need? How much would this cost? Could I just do it on myself? What products would you reccomend? Sorry for all the questions, I just really want to get this done! Thanks!
I'm not hair stylist but I don't think you can perm something quite like that. A really big barrel curling iron and some salon quality hairspray should do the trick me thinks. It looks like a lot of backwards curling and then she breaks the "sausages" a bit.
I use the InStyler to curl my hair, it takes a few minutes and it pretty much lasts until I wash my hair again.
I get a lot of compliments.
My hair is even so my curls are not around my face... that would be horrible with my big face! But if your hair is layered you will end up with more volume.
This is a bad bleached out picture but you get the idea...
Thanks, usually I just use my straightener to curl my hair (I know, weird, but it works) I was just wondering if there was any way I could achieve this without curling it every morning. Its kind of a hassle.
Yes, I do have TONS of layers so usually I do curl around my face.
vilmarisv, has anyone ever told you that you look like America Ferrera?!
I still haven't figured out how to curl with my InStyler... It does wonders when I want to straighten my thick, relatively short hair, though. I also don't think it can really be permed that way. I think if you didn't want to curl it everyday, it would be really hard to maintain that style and it still look pretty. When I want to wear mine curly, I think using a pick on it- like those ones for when you're just getting out of the shower- helps maintain the curl and smooth it out. Also, doing a bit of cheating with wearing half up, half down styles or pinning back some of the sides would help you get by without curling it every single day.
I still haven't figured out how to curl with my InStyler...
It's easy! You just wrap your hair around the barrel towards the rotation of the styler. Then squeeze it and let is turn a few seconds. Release it and the curl drops... it's very quick!
I'm sure you could find a demo video on youtube
Ahaha, I'm InStyler deficient. Lol. If I ever want to make nice, big pretty curls, I'll certainly look up those how-to's on Youtube. For now, though... Laziness. >.<
