Should I be concerned?

Ok, so my betta Smokey Bee has a little spot right under his mouth. Doesn't look like it's something growing on him, but it does look odd to me. The spot looks like it's a part of him, but looking back at some pictures when I first got him, it doesn't appear to be like that has been there before.

Anybody has any ideas on what it might be?

Oh, and he is currently being treated for ick, which appears to be getting a lot better since last night.

Awwww he has a really cute face =D is the spot fuzzy or raised at all???? I would just keep a close eye on it and watch for any changes, if it stays the same over the next week then it's probably just natural coloring.

The spot does not appear to be fuzzy or raised, but it's so small that I can't really tell. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for that.
