Could you get a picture of them? If, in fact, they are someone's pets they need to be taken inside or contained somehow. Domestic pets are no match for outside. Plus, domestic pet rabbits are quite removed from their wild cousins genetics wise.
I would call animal control or try to trick them into capture before they are killed
:( Put them in the hands of a small animal rescue, or the regular shelter.

^.^ Sorry to hijack! I'd love to see a pic of the OP's new bun bun!
i wish i could get pictures of them .. we've been thinking for years that they have to belong to someone .. cus the wild rabbis here are nothing close to them .. they always come out on warm nights .. and they are black bunnies so it's very hard to catch a picture of them with the camera flash scaring them away too >.<

sometimes when i don't see them on the warm nights that they usually come .. i wonder if they are still alive T_T .. they are soo cute .. i really hope someone didn't just dump them ..

my bf said he saw them on someone else's lawn just sitting there .. like just last week .. so i was happy they were still alive =D

Haha that's so cool!! I wish I had cool rescue stories for my pets! I mean, I guess getting them from shelters is good enough... but still it doesn't make for a very interesting story. :/

It sure does! Out of the thousands of unwanted animals I think it's great that you and your family decided to make a homeless pet part of your lives. So many people get their pets off family and friends and I think that makes for a less interesting story IMO. Rescuing is the highest form of respect and compassion!
