Exploding?

Has anyone's Critter Keeper thing ever exploded? I hear all the time on here about people putting bettas in them with heaters and everything, but my friend said she tried to fill it with water and it exploded. But I was planning on putting my babies in them so... I don't want it to bust and spill my water, decor, and fishies all over the place. She has made me doubt my plan.

O__O It...exploded?! Was it in the freezer and then she poured boiling water into it? lol. That's odd that it did that.
I've never heard of them exploding...leaking yes, but not KABOOM!
I'm sure you'll be fine with yours. :)

Heheh, she may have exaggerated, but the word she used was indeed 'exploded'. But upon further investigation, she said they put big heavy rocks and salamanders in it. >.>

Thanks, though. I was so panicking bc I didn't have another backup plan. Lol

I dunno, I'm only relaying what she told me. xD Probably the stress of big heavy rocks and potentially too big salamanders busted the walls out on hers when she added water to it. Lol. I feel pretty safe in using them for a single betta each, though. >.<
