Its alright I would rather wait for a fish to support small breeders. And I spoke to soon I only have one male left the other died in shipping. So I have been looking through whats left of your males there all so gorgeous. I never have been so lucky to have all the fry come out looking good.

Oh I am so sorry Creat.... It is so hard to lose them, especially to shipping :( I hope you have better luck in the future.

Small breeders everywhere appreciate the support. I was honestly surprised that most of the 161 fry turned out ok. The only draw back (for some) is that they carry plakat. But that can be bred out.

Kfryman- $12 is the minimum cost that the post office will charge me to ship. It does not include the $2 heater or the styrofoam insulation. The total cost for priority shipping is $16 and I will not ship fish without a heat pack and insulation. They will die. Unfortunately I can not afford to carry those costs so they must be included in the shipping price.

It's only right for the customer to pay for the heat packs and styrofoam. Some breeders will refund the charge for the box and styrofoam if they ae sent back to the breeder.

Oh definitely, I wouldn't really get priority though. I wouldn't want to risk it.

Posting to say I recieved my 6 girls via express and they were all in perfect condition. As if everyone didn't already know that Darkmoon17 was an awesome betta breeder, I am here to confirm it. My heart was beating so fast as I uncovered each girl!

The girls were slightly stressed out of the box (no kidding! they were shipped over a 1000 miles), but they all ate right away and colored up beautifully within 24 hours. I could not be happier. I'm particularly enamored of the smallest girl, while my husband likes the red dragon (typical man, le sigh).

To anyone who is worried about ordering bettas via mail: this is the way to go. I'd take these gals over sad petstore bettas any day. Support good breeding!

Thank you Darkmoon17!
Jo
