Either way valley is rescuing a betta, so what does it matter how he/she chooses? We all pick bettas based on personal preferences so let's not call someone odd because they want a certain color to go with their tank. ;)

I admit I may be changing my mind altogether. I keep this in my office and I don't know if it is practical to have two fish.

I was having a moment of crazy.

Yeah, definitely in a funny way!

Chex (my choco guy who I have had a near impossible time naming--Chex being an amalgam of Ch- from Chip and -ex from Tex) always does this funny thing where he'll aggro out if you're a certain distance, but the closer you get, he backs off kinda like, "Hey man, you wanna start something?!....Whoa, Whoa, let's see if we can hug this out!"

Prince (the "violet" HM I was going to return) circles the area I drop his food like a hyperactive shark whenever I get near.

Dink, who was off in a corner and too stressed to do anything when I got him, just kinda cruises around, and will put his face up on the glass even when you do the same, but if you point a finger at him, he'll swim up and to the side, almost saying, "Boy, don't you poke that finger at me..."

all hilarious little fish, all either unwanted by others or wasn't sure if I wanted to keep them. Glad I did!

If it is an aesthetic decision based on your office, 2 fish works better than 1 IMO. Lots you can do with symmetry and juxtaposition.

If you don't want tokeep him, don't return him, you're just sending him to be killed. rehome him, someone her might want to adopt him.

if you do decide to keep him, he's a chocolate. many people see yellow and go right to MG but MG's are blue, not brown xD He's pretty, for sure.

I would keep him! I would say he fits the "chocolate" bicolor better!

I would reallly get him. Im sure he is a funny and healthy fish waiting back for you at the store! There was a betta that went crazy anytime I walked by him. He was Ryu's brother but I didnt have the room :/ Some bettas really want a good home and every betta deserves a good home wheather they are fancy or not ^-^
