which conditioner

Which water conditioner is the best for bettas?

Prime

Amquel

Noaqua (plus)

I like Prime because you only need 3 drops and it lasts forever! I got this little tiny bottle of it back in April and it is only half gone, even with very frequent water changes!

However, if you ever have fin damage I think Novaqua is supposed to help with healing. Many people on the forum keep both for this purpose.

Seachem betta basics just looks like a diluted version of Prime IMO.

I have never used Amquel.

My answer is still the same. :)

Prime. It does everything that the others do (chlorine, chloramine, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, heavy metals, stress coat etc) but for a fraction of the price, long term, because it lasts so long. It's also safe if you accidentally overdose.

That being said, I've never used the others. I wouldn't use the Betta Basics because it just looks like Prime, but less useful.
