Excited

Hi all!

I'm somewhat new to this forum, since my betta's have benefited greatly from reading it, but this is my first time posting. So, I ordered some daphnia, purely out of curiosity, and I can proudly say that my male and female's colors have literally taken a turn for the best. I highly recommend this to any betta keeper, and just watching the daphnia is somewhat amazing, since they're so tiny =). I hope some of you try the live ones some day

I'm definitely going to have to give this daphnia stuff a try. What does it look like/what is it?

Here is a good link to read up on daphnia

http://lhsfoss.org/fossweb/teachers/...l/daphnia.html

basically, these are tiny crustaceans that have a lot of fiber and protein that are optimal for bettas, since they can get constipated. Some breeders feed these to betta fry, as they are really small and not that difficult to maintain at all. If your still interested in daphnia, pm me. I have a good amount of daphnia of my own,and can sell you a starter culture for a better price than what I paid

Unless you are in Australia, your offer of sale is going to have to come with international shipping and a way to bypass it getting confiscated by customs. :p
