Help help help

Ok guys, I'm freaking out. You know the TWO little fins that bettas use to swim? My newest little betta LOST ONE. Completely. It's gone. She only has one. I don't know what happened, but will she make it? What can I do? Can it grow back?!?

EDIT: It's not gone. I'm an idiot, it's still there. She has it pressed up against her body. She must have injured it. AQ salt for treatment? Can a fish have just one clamped fin?

I've since moved her out of the tank and treated with AQ salt :(

Apparently she got "stuck" behind the thermometer (according to my little sister.) Then, my little sister helped the fish get out and then she wouldn't use the fin. I took her out, gave her some AQ salt, and she's already acting better :D yyaayy

I'm glad to hear that she didn't lose her fin. Hope she gets well soon :)

I'm glad it was a false alarm and she's ok.

She should be fine. I would take her out of the salt, as it is not needed and it won't do anything for her fin, whether it's injured or not, the salt won't help it. AQ salt can do harm if over used, as it will extract moisture out of their internal organs and cause damage to them.. kidney damage is a big one that happens. It should only be used when absolutely necessary, it isn't a go-to for when you think something is wrong.
Sorry to harp, but rather stress the point of the use of AQ salt is all.
She should be fine, it may be a little painful for her, but doubtful there is any actual damage to her that will cause any harm to her health or swimming abilities.
