He's rubbing up and down, and then sometime back and forth along the front of the tank. Is he trying to say he wants out? I really need to get him a larger tank... He has actually mellowed out quite a bit now; and mostly just does dances and flutters when he sees us in the morning, and does a big show when he's hungry.
I couldn't do the tannins... Unfortunately there's not a tree in town I know to be pesticide free. We had some major insect booms last year (though I personally thought they were cute and harmless) and I believe the city started an aggressive pesticide campaign to get rid of them. There are absolutely none of the hackelberry aphids flying around anymore.
