NO WAY! Its 5.1 gallons? NO WAY!

So, I plugged in my tank dimensions to Aq Aquavisor, and it says it is 5.1 us gallons! What? On the package it says 3! No way... Can I trust aquavisor?

If its a rectangle at those dimensions then that is pretty close. I just used another calculator & it came up with 5.0 so thats right in there.

It is a rectangular shape. Here is the exact tank-

You need to take into account the curves and odd shape of the tank.

I would trust the manufacturer on how many gallons that tank holds.

If I remember my maths correctly, technically its a trapezium, so a calculator like AqAdvisor, based on a true rectangle, isn't going to be accurate, especially if you gave it the width-dimension across the front, which is a fair bit larger than the one across the back.

When measuring tank volume, just get a water jug. Easier to do.

I would hazard a guess that those are the overall dimensions including the feet, hood and curves.
