She-Male Betta.....

So YES, I was about to start breeded today. As I put the 2 week conditioned female a male, the HM doesn't flare or show any sign of interest. The female even came next to him!... So I threw in my other male form a LFS and here I am right now. Any reasons why the HM was acting like that?

Trad. PK x HM spawn is now HMPK x Trad. PK

Some males are not very aggressive. Was he conditioned away from other fish? I've found that seperation is really important.
