At the moment, the only pets I have are my two bettas, but I'm going to be getting a 9 month old black and white Lhasa Apso puppy next week! Her name's Noel. :D She's so cute. I'll post pictures when I get some.

How would petting them kill them?

Mo and Lego are living proof that that ISNT true! Mo loves to be pet.
Also if they die when you pet them, then why would they sell them?

Here comes my list (not counting my parents animals just mine.)

CK Storm Dancer aka Flash. She is a tri pinto mare Arabian/ASB. Originally a halter horse now Western Pleasure to combat my ex English Pleasure ASB (unfortunately passed away this year D:) She is 12 years old and has two glass or blue eyes.

Here is Aramis my dapple grey miniature horse. He does halter and show jumping but in this pic he looks very scruffy.

Raven my black domestic short hair cat. Crazy evil thing.

Here is the new baby to the farm my prince Cheetah

And now my pride and joys...MOUSE SPAM TIME!!!!

Coraline my tan.

Verona my chinchilla (color not breed xD)

And NOW OPHELIA!!! My number one angel and love of my life. She is a Pink Eyed White and my first ever mouse.

I didnt think I would ever get a mouse until I saw yours! They are just like hamsters. Though I think i'll stick to Guinea Pigs because I dont think I'll ever be able to live without my two year old Effie!

Thank you. Ophelia is a trained mouse and have been in about 4 or 5 photo shoots. She is trained to stay, give kisses, come, back, and spin.

Oh that is so sweet! I think you should put a video up on YouTube to show us. That reminds me, i'm training my Beautiful Effie to do "Circle" and she is getting the hang of it. I look on YouTube to look for a bunch of cool tricks! She even gets on her igloo and starts wheeking at me to give her carrots and hay. So spoiled!

Ah! I had heard you can clicker train african soft furs to do tricks, I didn't think you could with mice. :) Ours went untrained..but she was still a fun sweetie! My boyfriend still prefers gerbils, he likes watching them run around and play "like little spazzy children who got too much candy", lol!

@purplemuffin: What is an African Soft Fur? They usually use clickers for bigger animals like Birds (Owls), Dogs, ect.

ASF are a smaller breed of rat, very smart, very beautiful. And yes they do clicker train. I know a mouse trainer from Germany who is also an AMAZING breeder. She also trains her mice like you train Orca's. She has sticks with colorful ball of clay at the end and point trains them. Hers can play basketball, socker, open tiny doors, and they also do full agility courses. They are very smart animals and if you build up strong trust with them are easy to train and love the challenges. My other two girls are very shy and not as trusting so unfortunately they are harder to train but they all come when I call their names like little dogs. Also with mice you always must give them treats when they do things right or they will stop performing for you. They love you but they work for themselves.
