White Spots - Pics

My fish has been growing these white spots on one half of her body, but now they are spreading to the top. It's only a matter of time before it spreads further. The parameters on the tank are: Ammonia 0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 10-20, pH 7.8. Water temp is 80 degrees F. Change 50% once a week. Up until last week she was in the tank with another betta, which unfortunately passed due to dropsy. I quarantined her before it was evident, she was just acting very strange. The fish I'm posting about now is hiding by the heater, and acting very weak. She is however still eating. I am not sure what to do, or how to treat her successfully. The water temp and parameters were the same in the other tank as well.

I tried to get the best pics possible, the spots are very light. They are more obvious in person.

Thanks. It just seems to be spreading to the other side.

Looks like something with the slime coat.

Was she recently transferred from a cup? Bettas seem to produce mass amounts of slime coat when they're in cups, even when it's only for a little while.

I'd do 100% water changes every day to see if that helps it clear up along with lowering the temp to 76 in case it turns out to be a fungus of any sorts.

You could also try dosing her with 2 tsp/gal of aquarium salt since it may not be just shedding slime coat.
