So my boyfriend and I go into our LPS today to get some frozen blood worms for his african clawed frogs, and while he is talking to the owner I decide to hop on over to the next isle where they keep their fish supplies. I thought I would be safe since they stopped selling Bettas several months ago, because their supplier was having issues keeping his fish healthy.


O.O imagine my suprise when I notice bowl after bowl of handsome boys and georgous girls. I immediatly gravitated twards this handsome little fellow twards the back. "No, you don't need another Betta" I tried to fight it. I even walked away, but just as we were about to leave my boyfriend grabs my handsome fellow, and goes to the register. ^^ I am now the very happy owner of a white VT that looks as though he could turn into a marble with his red and blue coloring (Pics asap) and he is now exploring his new 3gal Kritter keeper.

This brings my betta count to 4. :/ I have no self control and my boyfriend is only feeding my addiction. Do the have Betta annonmyous groups? I need a name for my newest fellow, any suggestions?

I have 11. lol I did have 12 but I lost one of my girls the other day. Bettas are definitely addictive. lol

i now have 3 betta... and i want more, lol, but i keep telling myself that i have no more room for tanks...

Edit: oh and i wanted to just say that you have the best boyfriend ever... why can't i find a guy like that :P

At the beginning of this month I had one.. Joined this site, got another.
That one passed and I got yet another.
So addicting.
I now have two.

Yea he is pretty awesome. ^^ oh and happy to report, My new fella has blown a very large bubble nest. I still haven't been able to get a good pic of him tho. Every time I try he moves and its blurry ;/
