New little guy!!!

I got another betta... I'm so happy.
His name is Fiji.. I think he's a Crowntail... Unsure...
I got him from Wal-mart... Can't trust Wal-mart packaging..
The cups were under the wrong places and stuff so unsure about the price..
So he looks like he has rips in his fins... poor guyyy... He was in the back and had alot of waste in his cup.. No left over food...
So do you think I should worry about the little rip in his fins?

You want to keep an eye on them to make sure he doesn't develop fin rot.
Make sure that his water is kept clean and Ammonia/Nitrite levels are kept at 0. If his tank isn't already cycled I'd do daily tests on Ammonia or Nitrite and do water changes every time they read 0.25 ppm or more. Otherwise the bad water quality could make infections on the fin rips more likely. If it is cycled just make sure you keep up with weekly water changes.
Adding some aquarium salt will also help prevent the fins from getting infected.
