I got some new photos of my new boy just a little bit ago. I tried to use natural lighting this time with no flash. :) You can see his reds much better.

Anyone know what type he is? (well crowntail obviously. haha. But marking wise?)

wow! I can't believe they were going to just "throw out" a betta like him. Tri-colors are pretty high up on the "rarity" scale somewhere on the forums. He's definitely a marble. Usually you only see marbles with 2 colors, but yours is 3. My marble is only 2 colors I think unless different shades count as colors... (no they don't count). With some care he might change colors xD. If I was in your situation I would have done the same. I am excited to know what colors he has in store for you ;x The second picture makes me think, "wad up bud?"

nice looking fish! I went to my Walmart today looking for a CT female and mine either doesn't carry them or was sold out.

Really? I thought marble at first but then thought that they only had two colors. XD Would be pretty awesome!

He moved into my other bettas 3 gallon heated tank today. He seems much happier. My other betta on the other hand moved into the 35 gallon that I FINALLY got from my parents (they said i could have it months ago XD) and he's definitely happy in there! As soon as I'm able to I'm going to get a divider for the 35 gallon (or make one if I can figure out how XD) And have this little guy in half of it. :)

Here's the 3 gallon (at least i *think* thats what it is XD) when my other betta was in it. It's the exact same now.

and the 35 gallon that I'll divide and put him into with my betta who's already enjoying it XD (I still can't wait to buy things and stuff that tank LOL)

-edit- and yes, there's some neons in that big tank. :P So far my betta is getting along with them XD

I've had a marble boy who changed three colors. Usually there is a "base" color, along with two other colors (or so I found) pretty boy though!!
