Lightbulb Mirror

Ive seen them in stores , is it a good ideal to buy a make Betta a mirror toy ?

It's a good exercise but not something to have in the tank always.
Just an hour a day is ideal.

I actually wouldn't even leave it in there an hour. Most of the exercise mirrors say to take them out after 5 minutes.

No it doesn't. A little flaring each day is healthy. It's a myth that it's stressful. It's only stressful if you leave it in too long.

A few minutes a day is healthy for a betta! It only becomes stressful if you leave the mirror in the tank or in the fishes view for an extended period of time. This is because the reflection in the mirror makes your betta think that another betta is envading their territory. But once the reflection is gone, they feel as though they have successfully defended their turf. However, if there's always another "betta" in their tank in plain sight, they feel the need to hide and thus become stressed. At least, that's what I've read. (:
