Need Help Please

Sorry for all the questions just trying to understand everything

if the water is to cold what do i do do i add warm water or ? whats the best way to do it ?

You need to purchase an aquarium heater appropriate for the tank size and thermometer. Not all heaters are created equal though, so it's best to ask the forum members about a certain brand before purchasing.

They make heaters for small tanks. What size are we talking here?

mines a small one i started off with a 2L - 1/2 G

That's too small for a betta. They appreciate space. It's very difficult to heat anything under 2.5g. I would get him something like a 2.5g, and then we can advise you on the best heater :) In that half gallon tank, you need to do water changes 100% every other day because of the ammonia that builds up in that small of a tank, which will harm him causing his fins to rot.

i was looking at a 5g tank looks beautiful really cheap to cuz its on sale cuz of christmas coming up has a little water fall at the topp looks nicee how dose that sound ?

A 5g sounds great! If the tank doesnt have a lid, remember to keep the water level a couple inches below the edge of the tank to prevent jumping :) A heater for that tank would be a 25W. Hagen Elite is a great adjustable brand!

what is the price on that ? and would u be able to tell me how heaters work i never used one do u just set it up at a temperature and it will make the water that tempter or ?
