Betta Shows

Is there such a thing as Betta Shows? I know that there are for dogs, cats, horses, and rabbits. Is there anything for Bettas? I was wondering because I saw someone advertise their bettas on Aquabid as coming from show winning fish.

I was wondering the same, I'm in Montana.....another state that seems to attract little attention or information...lol...

Yes there are betta shows.
There is an International convention being planned for June in Florida (I can't go).
Since I'm in central California, I can either go to Southern California (LA), or Northern California to go to a show.

Wow that sounds so cool! Is there a site? Are there any near SD? I know mountaintrout, there seems to be nothing here and if there is it is never advertised. I like living in the country but there never seems to be anything going on or many people that share your interests, such as rabbit and betta shows.

You can go to the International Betta Congress site. They have listings of shows as well as betta clubs. You might be able to find one somewhere near you. Best of luck.

Unfortunately there's not much in the way of shows in the midwest. Most of the shows are eithe CA, FL, MI, or CT. There's talks of Georgia putting on a show but I don't think it will be this season.

Well I will check out the site. Thanks for the link. :) The midwest never has anything! :( Maybe I will have to go to college in CA.
