Exclamation Tiny gray dot on eye?

So my betta has this tiny gray dot on his eye but you can only see it if he's looking straight at you when he's swimming you can only if he looks at you and his eye is not swollen. Yesterday both of his eyes had a small Dot so I did a 60% water change some aquarium salt and one eye was healed he's in a 5.5gallom tank with filter plants hood and light no heater because my rooms hot and no tank mates so what should I do? Oh he acts completely healthy swims around alllll the time eats perfect exc. So ick? Popeye?

Hmm, can bettas get cataracts? That could be it, or something like that. Does it seem like it bothers him?

Cataracts are opaque whitish gray and can be seen at all angles...same as humans' and not dot like, but I guess that would depends on our definition of dot then

hopefully it's nothing serious. Sounds like he is his normal self except for the eye problem. I would just keep an eye on him (no pun intended ) and make sure you don't exceed the aquarium salt use of more than 10 days or so.

Cheers!
