nice looking male hey you can use bubble wrap for them to make nest on good trick had a breeder show me that one works great to.

Give them time. As long as the female is still swimming normally .... not weak and looks sort of in pain.

First time females usually takes longer than veterans. This is why it's often advised to float the female for 2-3 days before releasing (less damage).

putting that chimney in on her for a while is what i have heard manytimes for how to make sure they are in "timing" for themselves

If the male is getting really defensive over the nest and stays under it most of the time, thenbthey might have already spawned. That happened to me, I hadn't noticed they spawned and left the girl in there for days luckily she had lots of hiding places and wasn't hurt.

She started looking a little tired/scraggly so I removed her from the tank. He's swimming around his entire territory so I don't think they spawned. I may try a different female or may just wait. Not sure yet.
