Talking Are these Eggs?

Mocha is guarding his nest. The little white dots are eggs aren't they?

Yippee! I have my fingers and toes crossed! He got 'em in the bubblenest on the first try. I took her out because he was chasing her, but wasn't sure they'd done their business until i saw the nest. It's impossible to see from underneath. I've seen eggs fall while they embrace, but hadn't seen the eggs in the nest until now. They look bigger than when they fall, to me anyway.

My fishies have no trust for me [they're fishies], and no instinct for making babies it seems. Do lps Bettas ever have success with hatching? Mocha must have eaten his, or moved them to a super secret location that I can't find. More likely he ate them. I'll wait a month and let them try again. Or maybe I can find Mocha a more yellow girl.

In the meantime Banana and Lemon are in the bucket trying the method I read about from a site who's owner is in Thailand. He wasn't real specific in all the steps, like if he leaves the boy in, or keeps the water moving with air. It looks like he just leaves them alone after he takes both parents out.

I'd rather the boy take care of his eggs.

I figured out why I 'need' so many bettas. Its to keep me from annoying any one of them to death. With so many, it gives each a chance to rest while I annoy different ones with fussing over them. ^.^) This month I'm annoying Banana, Lemon, and blue crowntails, that i honestly can't remember what I named them. That's why i take pictures of each betta ^.^)
