I don't know how much you have, but a glass jar or critter-keeper in a window should keep it until you are ready to add it. How long are you planning on waiting?

Oh cool, im currently waiting for my light which i purchased off an aquarium shop to arrive before adding in the java moss ._. so i'll guess a week?
As for the light source, does it have to be sun light? I read from some other post that study lamps are fine as well and thats what i have it under atm, it uses a standard bulb. Would it still be okay?
