My Betta Fish Is Too Skinny

I just bought Morissey last week, but not knowing any different, I think I bought him sick.

He's really frail and discolored. He also has popeye, and doesn't swim very often.

I started changing his water every three days and started feeding him blood worms. This seems to be bringing his color back, but I want him to gain some weight! My other Fish Dexter is a happy Veil Tail...he's like a puppy dog!

My question is, how can I fatten up my other fish? He looks like a wet noodle. Thanks!

feed small amounts of a good variety several times a day - like 4 or 5. get some good pellets - I hear New Spectrum is good & get some frozen foods - brine shrimp, bloodworms, daphnia, glassworms. When he's got some weight on him you can feed a little more at a time, and only twice a day

Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I did as you suggested and it worked!!! He went from a light grey color to a gorgeous navy blue :) Check it out!!!
