Arrow betta does not like food?

Im switching to a new food, Tetrabetta, and i tried to feed george the betta but he spit out the pellets :( I think he may be a picky eater and ive heard that some times it takes a few days for the bettas to eat pellets(?) any information would be helpful thanks!

Yes, betta can be picky eaters.
If you're switching brands make sure the pellets are not larger, they might be too big for him.
If they are definitely not larger, then just offer the pellets... he will eat them eventually.

I've gone through the same thing with my fish! When I first got him I tried Tetra Tropical flakes, then TetraBetta flakes, and THEN when I finally went to Hikari Betta pellets he gobbled them right up! Good luck food-hunting. :)

It's 3 bucks for the 2 gram package, which will last quite a while. Go return some bottles or cans.

Plastic thing that allows you to handfeed them? lol I just hold the pellet in my fingers and they jump for it before I'm ready to drop it in :P

Mine are picky eaters too.. only one will eat anything other then pellets.. another will sometimes try something new, but normally just wants pellets. And one will only eat pellets and live food. Frustrating when you want to give them a variety!
