Aww.. I'd take him if I was closer to you :( I have a new spare tank hanging around right now too.. but if you're going to keep him then great! He couldn't ask for a better owner! I'm so sorry you lost the CT :(

And nothing wrong with being a bleeding heart! If more people were, the world would be a better place :P

Your VT looks like Sequin when I first brought him home. It brings back good memories.

One time I went to a walmart and one of the workers had put TWO males together in one of those little cups!!! i gave it to a worker and they went to tke care of it but still!!! On the other hand I get all of my fish from Walmart and most of them do well. my current male has a HUGE bubble nest.

Aww, sorrry about the CT, but glad the VT is doing well :D Rescues really are the best, nothing better when you pop some food in when you wake up, and the fish ignores the food and comes to say hi to you instead :)

The CT looks identical to the one I picked up from walmart tonight. He was the only one left and he has been there a while and had horrible ammonia level. Im sorry yours didn't make it. Its so sad when they finally find good homes only to die a few hours later due to neglect

Thanks everyone. I need to get a better pic of his true color, he's more of a maroon then pink. He's a bit of a aloof guy, startles easy. I've decided to call him "keeper".
