haha petsmart is so dumb

hey, they sell a 2.5 gal aquarium for $14 and a 10 gal for $13 !
It's probably because the name doesn't say how much it holds like the 2.5 gal.

wish they had such deal locally. the marina 5g glass cost me $40CD without tax. the minibow 2.5g acrylic $35 US (Plattsburg). even KK go for minimum 15$ for a gallon locally.

The difference in price is because the 2.5 comes with a glass lid and the 10 doesn't. To get a glass lid for a 10 gal is usually an extra $8, so that would make it $20.99 if you were to compare them as equal tanks. I used to own that 2.5 and have bought few 10's from Petsmart.

Sadly the cost of the 2.5 Gallon is Higher then a typical 10 Gallon :( Which is quite sad!

Eh usually if you get a 2.5 it comes with more than the bare 10 gal. But yes you're right it's oddly priced

True, the 10 gallon is always totally bare--no filter, hood, or random packats of food and gravel and dechlorinator they give you in the smaller tanks. Probably because most of the smaller tanks are meant to be a full package, ten gallons seem to have many other uses and lots of people JUST want the tank itself.
